Hi, my name is Sue and I am an addict...of all things Chocolate…

Oh my goodness is all that I can say. I really do have a piece of chocolate every single night. Not any chocolate, only the good stuff! Plus I hide it from Mike and the kiddos...I only share with Robyn, cause she knows where my stash is. I came across this recipe on this site and am going to make them tonight…for my family:)  See, I luv to bake sweet treats as my grandma did, but don’t eat them myself. Or my arse would be bigger than it currently is:)

What You Need

1 batch brownies (boxed mix or other, but who are we kidding. The boxed mix is the best when it comes to brownies!)

1 cup chopped Reese’s peanut butter cups (original recipe also called for 1/2 cup of salted peanuts  but I chose to leave this out as I am not a fan of nuts in baked goods)

1 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

1/2 tablespoon butter ( might I suggest salted butter if you left out the salted peanuts? Would balance the sweetness)

1 1/2 cups Rice Krispies Cereal

What You Need to Do

Mix brownies according to directions, and bake for 20 minutes in a 9 x 13 baking dish. Remove and top with peanut butter cups, (and the salted peanuts if you chose to keep this in) and bake for 4-6 minutes more.

While they are finishing baking, melt chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter. Stir in cereal. Remove brownies from oven and evenly pour chocolate mixture over top.

Refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.

Then I am going to make these Salty Dog Chocolate Treats on a Stick for a few lucky people I know...let me know if you want to be one of themSmile ho ho ho
