Another one of my favorite things and time of year. Cross Country has been in full swing since September for Chloe. She is still my favorite runner chick of all times! She has been a bit on the shy side this year and hasn’t wanted me to say much, write much, or take many photos. But we are at the end of the season come this weekend, so ya, I am super excited for her…as she qualified for State! And yes I shall write about her…cause that’s what a mama does.
Sometimes just watching her run is the most simple pleasure that I have. She is graceful... focused... positive... most of the time. Its going to be a fun weekend for her. She still runs for herself...seems it may be a bit more social this year...but most of all Chloe still believes in herself. She doesn’t care so much what others thing, she is staying fit, is never injured, but most of all, she still acts like a 15 year old…as she should.
She is packed and ready to go for a 5am bus departure...with pudding, applesauce, bagels, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches...with a lil luv from me packed in her bags to go...
Glad she still wants me to come to all her events...cause anyone can be a parent, but being a good one is so much more important. And I would like to think I am in that good parent category...
